In SapphireIMS, the system administrator can change the naming convention "Project" in Service Desk to the configured name. This change is visible throughout the Service Desk application.
Change project name
Click Settings > Advanced System Settings > Global Settings
Click Alias for Service Desk Project. Enter new project name in Setting Value box and click Update to reconfigure the project name throughout the Service Desk application.
Note: SapphireIMS service has to be restarted for the change to take place.
Given below is a listing of items where the change is reflected.
Service Desk Configuration Project Name
Tab name in Projects listing, grid column header as well as status bar of the grid
Add/Edit Project configuration, <Project name> Creation tab heading, <Project name> Name , <Project name> Description, <Project name>Admin, <Project name> Manager, <Project name> Type
Click Email to record configuration, Add/Edit configuration. There is a change in <Project name> Name.
Click Service Desk > My Home. Project name drop down is changed. All <Project name> tab name is changed as well as All <Project name> summary
In My Dashboard page, Project name drop down is changed.
Click Quick Stats tab. Project name drop down is changed.
Click All <Project name> tab. Under Summary, project name is changed as well as in the grid column heading.
In Submit New Incident page, Project name drop down is changed.
Under My Incidents tab, work group project name is changed.
Click My Incidents and select incident. From Actions drop down, click Link Incident to link the incident. Project name is changed.
In Incident Management, from Actions drop down select Customize View. Project Name is changed.
Click SLA Violated Incidents. Project name drop down is changed.
Click Incidents by e-mail. Project name drop down is changed. Click on Add to Incident button. Project name is changed.
Click Self Service > Service Catalog. Project name drop down is changed.
Click Reports > Custom Reports tab. Project name drop down is changed.
Click Reports > Custom Reports tab. Under Add/Edit custom report, Project name drop down is changed.
Click Reports > Inbuilt Reports tab, Project name drop down is changed.
Click Reports > Scheduled Reports tab, Project name drop down is changed.
In Search Results page, project name is changed.
Click Settings. Under Fault & Notifications, click Alarm to Record. Under Add/Edit Alarm to record, project name is changed.
