This screen contains all general settings required for compliance calculation
To manage the compliance related settings:
Click the 'Settings' tab. In the 'Asset and Inventory Management section, click 'Compliance'
In the 'Settings' panel, click 'Compliance Settings'
General Settings
License Sub Tree - The organization unit tree or business unit to be considered for compliance
Software Compliance Settings
Calculate Compliance Based On - Systems to be considered for software compliance calculation. If 'Host' is selected then all managed inventory systems will be considered. If 'Asset' is selected then managed inventory systems that are linked to asset will be considered
System Currency - The currency format to be used for showing cost in reports, dashboards and software compliance view.
Group By Product - In software compliance list view and reports, a product having more than one license record can be listed as one record by enabling this setting
Consider Sub Business Units - In software compliance list view and reports, products purchased under different sub business units can be listed under the parent business unit by enabling this setting
Group By Version, Edition - In software compliance list view and reports, a product with different version/edition can be sub grouped by enabling this setting
Group By License Metric - In software compliance list view and reports, a product purchased with different license metric can be sub grouped by enabling this setting
Group By License Source - In software compliance list view and reports, a product purchased with different license source can be sub grouped by enabling this setting
Consider Executable and SWID Tag - During software compliance calculation, a software detected through executable presence or SWID tag presence can be considered for reconciliation by enabling this setting
IT Compliance Settings
Calculate Compliance Based On - Systems to be considered for IT compliance calculation. If Host is selected then all managed inventory systems will be considered. If 'Asset' is selected then managed inventory systems that are linked to asset will be considered
Consider Sub Business Units - In IT compliance list view and reports, IT compliance policies affected in systems under different sub business units can be listed under the parent business unit by enabling this setting
