Custom Query Reports

Custom Query Reports allows you to configure reports based on custom database queries. These queries are written to populate the report from the database. SapphireIMS pre-ships some queries. For new queries, contact SapphireIMS Support.

Custom Query reports display the report details based on the custom query and the time scale filter selected.

On the SapphireIMS menu, point to 'Reports' and click 'Asset and Inventory Reports'.
Click the ‘Custom Query Reports’ link. Click on the ‘Add’ button. A screen to display the report details is displayed. As an example, the report below displays the list of Zombie nodes for which no data collection has happened for 30 days.

The fields are described below.

1	Title	Enter the title of the report.
2	Description	Brief description of the report to be created.
3	Report Type	Select the type of the report as 'Custom Query Report'.
4	Custom Query	Select the custom query based on which the report is displayed.
5	Time Scale	Select the appropriate time scale for which the report details are required. You can also enter a custom time period in the boxes.
6	Chart Type	Select the chart type of the report.
7	Access To	The Access control permissions for the Report can be set here.
	Role	Select one or more Roles for which the permission has to be given.
	Users	Select one or more Users for whom the permission has to be given.
	Access Permissions	Check one or more boxes to give permission to 'View', 'Edit', 'Delete' reports or check on 'All' if all permissions are to be given.

Enter the fields and click on 'Save'. The report gets added and appears in the report list.
Run the report and the following is displayed.

You can change the report type and time scale.
