Global settings refer to the setting keys defined in SapphireIMS that help you to enable or disable a particular option, define or change time intervals for a feature, define path values, define aliases, define counts etc.
The Global Setting for each of the modules are described in subsequent topics.
Click ‘Settings’, and from ‘Advanced System Settings’ section, click ‘Global Settings’. The list of Global Settings is displayed in alphabetical order.
Search for the specific key. You can filter on the 'Category' under which the Key appears if known.
Click on the key. As an example, the setting for automatic conversion of e-mail records to service desk tickets is shown.
Search for the setting key 'Submit email as ticket'.
Change the 'Setting Value' to '1' and click 'Update' to update the setting key. This will enable automatic conversion of e-mail records to service desk tickets.
