Setting up a Jump Host

Jump Host is introduced to integrate the On-Premise Active Directory and OpenLDAP Servers with SapphireIMS Cloud Server to import Active Directory and OpenLDAP users to the SapphireIMS user database and support Active Directory and OpenLDAP based User Authentication.

Note: You need to first install SapphireIMS Jump Host Client (SapphireIMS cloud connector plugin) on a Desktop with Windows 7 or above OS, Intel Core i3 or above Processor, 4 GB or above RAM, Internet Connection and Public IP Address (With FQDN is Recommended). Please refer to the section 'Cloud Connector Plugin' under Optional Third Party Tools Installation in the Getting Started Guide.

Name: Type the Jump Host profile name. Enter the same profile name as provided while installing the jump host client on the jump server present in the AD server LAN.

Address: Type the public IP address or FQDN of the jump server where the jump host client is installed.

Port: Type the port number (HTTP/HTTPS) on which the jump host client will run.

Is SSL Enabled: If the jump host client runs on https (SSL), check this box.

Click 'Save' to save the jump host profile.

Notes: 1. The jump host is automatically registered once the cloud connector service is up and the same name as the jump host client is provided.

2. The plugin service is automatically stopped if information like SapphireIMS server IP address, port or SSL status is incorrectly provided at the time of plugin installation.
