A licensing agreement is a legal contract between two parties known as the licensor and licensee. In a typical licensing agreement, the licensor grants the licensee the right to produce and sell goods, apply a brand name or trademark or use patented technology owned by the licensor.
License agreements help you to maintain all license agreement related information such as business unit, manufacturer, customer name and number, agreement type, status, start date, end date, country of agreement and country of usage; each of which is explained in detail below.
Click the 'Settings' tab. In the 'Asset and Inventory Management section, click 'Compliance'
In the 'Settings' panel, click 'License Agreements'. All the license agreements that are defined are listed here. To add a new license agreement, click 'Add'

Note: At the time of saving the license agreement, the license agreement name is auto generated with the name of the manufacturer followed by customer number and the number of the license agreement with the manufacturer.
