Pop-up Notifications

SapphireIMS can flash a notification message for selected events. For example, if popup notification is enabled for arrival of new records, a notification is flashed on the portal whenever a new record is submitted. Similarly on the Mobile, SapphireIMS supports push notifications which alerts the user on various events.

Click 'Settings' and in the ‘Advanced System Settings’ section click on 'Global Settings'. Update the value of ‘Enable or Disable Popup Notification’ to 1.
You can change the value of the setting key 'TimeOut Interval for PopUp Notification' to a value between 5 and 60 seconds. The default value is 15 seconds.

Select 'General Settings' option on the right hand side panel.
Click on 'PopUp Notification'. The Pop-up Notification configuration screen is displayed.

The fields are described below.

1	Event	The event for which the notification should be done.
2	Is Required	Check this box for enabling the notification.
3	Is Mobile	Check this box if the notification is required on the Mobile device.
4	Type	Select the 'Type' of notification. 'Notice' is displayed in Green color, 'Warning' is displayed in Yellow color and 'Error' is displayed in Red color.
5	Specific Roles	Currently notifications are sent to all users in a role irrespective of whether they are concerned with the record or not. Now you can select roles specific to the record so that only the specific user concerned with the record receives the notification.
6	Roles	Select the Roles which need to receive the notification.

Click on 'Save' to save the updates.
