User Guide
The purpose of this user guide is to get you started with using the SapphireIMS package and ensure that you derive the most from your SapphireIMS experience.
This manual is intended for the following audience:
- Systems Administrators who will be configuring and administering SapphireIMS
- Support Engineers who will be working on providing IT Support
- End users who will be using the application for getting IT services
The User Guide is organized as books which cover each of the modules in SapphireIMS. These are largely directed towards end users and IT Service Management team in the case of Service Desk and for IT Service Management team in the case of ITAM, Automation and Performance Monitoring. The book on 'Settings' is intended for use by Administrators or IT managers who will be making changes to the configuration.
Within each book, there are topics which cover each of the features and in most cases map to an item on the user interface to which you can navigate.
Based on the feature you want to use, you can search for it using the keyword, which will direct you to the pages which will describe the feature.
