Monitoring Reports

 

SapphireIMS provides extensive reporting options and templates to create reports of your choice. These varied range of reports display summarized or detailed data collected from all the modules.  These monitoring reports are single click reports that you can customize. The following section best describes the usage of these reports.

 

Note: The monitoring reports can be disabled if necessary.

1. Go to Settings > Advanced System Settings > Global Settings

2. Change the value of the setting key 'Enable or disable inbuilt monitoring reports' to 1

 

 

System Report

 

To view the monitoring reports perform the following

1. Select the report that needs to be generated. Provide any  additional parameters if prompted (for instance if the ‘Server Health Report’ is selected it will prompt for the target hosts).

2. The report will be displayed based on the selections. Following are the filter conditions provided to view specific reports.

Report Type

Each built-in report has a default chart type associated. Select the appropriate option

Time scale

Change the time scale, and the report gets re-generated with the selected time scale

Custom Time

Select a custom time using the ‘From’ and ‘To’ option. The report would then be re-generated with the time frame that is selected here.

Filter By

Displays the list of filtering options. If a filter option is changed (say top 2) then the report will get re-generated based on the filter option selected (top 2 instances in this case)

Display Type

There are two kinds of display mode

Single – This will list each parameter as an individual graph

Multiple – This will break up each parameter/instance as a separate graph

Saves the report as a PDF

Enables the report to be mailed to others.

Saves the report as a custom report. This can later be used for off-line viewing or it can also be scheduled to be sent as an e-mail on a periodic basis.
