Reminders feature is introduced in Service Desk to define pre-notifications and breach notification for the record based on a date field. At most 2 pre-notifications and one breach notification can be sent on the date specified in the record. Breach notification refers to notification sent after the date specified in the record.
The Date field can be any field of Date type added as an additional field.
Select 'General Settings' option on the right hand side panel.
Click on 'Reminders'. The Reminders listing screen is displayed.
Click on a reminder to edit or click on 'ADD' to add a new reminder.

Click on 'Update' or 'Save'.
The reminders are displayed on the Dashboard for the user if enabled. Refer Service Desk->Dashboards and Reports->Dashboards.
