SMS Notification Templates


 

SapphireIMS Service Desk provides the feature to create templates for SMS notification.  SMS notification can be sent in the same way that Email notification is sent with the facility to send notifications to more than one role.

SMS Notifications

Click on this button to update the SMS Notification Rules. Refer to Service Desk->Settings->Email and SMS Notifications->SMS Notification Rules for details.

Enter the name of the SMS Template

Enter the description of the Template

Fixed Fields

Select the Fixed Fields from the drop down list which are required in the Reply Template. The Fixed Field is inserted in the Body of the message enclosed in {}. While sending the SMS, the Field is replaced by the actual value.

Note.gifNote: You can select any number of Fixed Fields from the drop down.

Custom Fields

Select the Custom (user defined) Fields from the drop down list which are required in the Reply Template. The Custom Field is inserted in the Body of the message enclosed in {}. While sending the SMS, the Field is replaced by the actual value.

 Content

Enter the content of the Template here. The fields in {} act as placeholders and will be replaced by actual values from when the SMS is being sent.
