SapphireIMS has capability to monitor the traffic data of routers, switches, firewall and gateway devices and to convert that data into charts and tables for easy analysis. Monitoring network traffic helps in detecting traffic congestion and network performance issues. SapphireIMS supports the Netflow and sFlow protocol for monitoring traffic. SapphireIMS can also generate alerts for data that breach the configured conditions.
The next topics explain how to configure the settings, enable/disable systems for capturing traffic flow information, threshold profile configuration, managing dashboards and managing visualization for both Netflow and sFlow.

After installation of the Log Analyzer plug-in, follow the steps given in the topic Settings->Fault and Notifications->Log Analyzer Configuration. This is a pre-requisite to configure Netflow or sFlow.
