Submit a Change Request


User Roles: Change Requester

To initiate a 'Change Management' process a submitter must submit an 'RFC (request for change)' for approval.

An RFC is a collection of information regarding Summary of the Change, Description, Change Category,Urgency, Impact and Submitter's Information. Once an RFC is submitted, it follows the workflow configured in the 'Change Management' project.

Fill in the details in the 'New Change' form as per the explanation given in the table below and click 'Submit'

Select RFC Category based on the type of change request you want to submit

Select the 'Urgency', 'Impact' and 'Priority' drop down list box based on how quickly you  want the change  request to be approved

Type the change request title in the 'RFC Title' and 'RFC Description' text box respectively

Type the brief description on the nature of change

Reason for Change

Type the reason for submitting a change

Impact of not changing

Type briefly what will be the impact of not implementing the change

Attach

'Attach' helps you attach any additional supporting documents that might be of any help to the support engineers
