Enabling SSO on Windows 2003 Server


 

Please provide domain credentials in ‘Web.XML’ file located in

'<Install Directory>\WebManagement\standalone\deployments\SapphireIMS.war\WEB-INF\web.xml'

Configure security settings to allow SMB connections:

Allow unencrypted connections in the Default Domain Controller and Default Domain Group Policies:

1. In the Default Domain Controller Policy\Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options, find

2. Define both of these policies as ‘Disabled’

3. Repeat the above steps for the ‘Default Domain Policy’.

Apply the updated group policy changes:

Run gpupdate on the server from a command line to refresh group policy settings.

 

Settings to be enabled in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome Browsers

1. Click "Tools" menu -> Internet Options -> Security  tab

2. Select "Trusted Sites" zone to change the security settings

3. Click the "Sites" button

4. Enter the IP Address of the SapphireIMS server and click "Add"

 

Settings to be enabled in Mozilla Firefox browser

1. In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter

2. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear. Click "I'll be careful, I promise!" to continue to the about:config page

3. In the about:config page, search for the preference network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris and double-click on it

4. In the prompt that comes up, type the IP Address of the SapphireIMS server

5. Press OK

 

Note.gifNote: When SSO is enabled, please provide login credentials and check the box "Remember my credentials" to avoid repeated entry of login credentials.
