Introduction


 

To use SapphireIMS service desk, you need to first define service desk projects. At least one project needs to have been created for the service desk tab to become visible. To create a service desk project refer to Settings->Service Desk Configuration->Project Creation. Note that only the SapphireIMS administrator can create projects.

The Service Desk has a modernized user interface ('Standard View') for all service desk operations as well as the earlier interface called ('Classic View') which will be deprecated in future. By default, users get to see the Standard View.

If you are a user of the service desk who wants to submit tickets or view their status, proceed to the topic Service Desk->Standard View->Overview.
