Discovery screen provides the details of the devices that are discovered in the network. To navigate to this view, click 'Inventory' menu and click 'Discovery' tab.
You can use the search feature to quickly locate a host based on location, category, domain, OS, hostname and the time. Some of the details collected are
Data collection type that is used
Device Status
Data collection status
Discovered applications on the devices
Open ports on the devices
Enable Remote Control
1. Click 'Settings', from 'Advanced System Settings' section click 'Global Settings'
2. Select Category as 'Remote Desktop'
3. Set the value of Global Systems variable 'Enable or Disable Remote Control Feature' as 1. The Remote Control icon is now visible in the Discovery screen.
